A number of citizens were suffocated during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Khader, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Sources reported that the confrontations were concentrated in the "At-Tal" and "Berka" areas, during which occupation soldiers fired stun grenades and toxic tear gas, causing a number of citizens to suffocate as a result of gas inhalation.

Separately, occupation forces arrested a number of citizens from dispersed towns in West Bank, including Hamas leader Abdul Basit al-Haj and an ex-prisoner.
