The Israeli army is pessimistic about the end of the "Break the Waves" campaign in the near future. It is true that in the last year there have been significant achievements, especially the dismantling of the "Lion’s Den", but there are other sides igniting the region and encouraging resistance.

Despite the Palestinian Authority's protests, the Israeli army continues its intense activity. This is reflected in the high number of martyrs since the beginning of this year which reached 35 martyrs, and the number will increase as long as the army continues at the same pace. The army is not concerned with the expansion of the "Break the Waves" campaign, but they may expand if other resistance operations occur, the area is full of means and the army is very concerned about the participation of some of the Palestinian Authority's security services in the operations.

A Palestinian source spoke with Israel Today, saying: "The Authority falls slowly, and if Israel, Shabak and the Israeli security service control anyway. So, it is better if there would be no authority, if they find other ways to manage their matters and if Israel cares about municipal services and garbage collection. The Palestinian Authority's security services have lost the great value they had in the past."

In Gaza Strip, the situation remains tense because the air defense fighters intercepting an unmanned warplane overhead that have reportedly tried to infiltrate Israel.
