The wife of Maher Al-Akhras, a Palestinian prisoner who has been on a hunger strike for 73 days, declared starting a hunger strike and protesting in front of Kaplan Hospital where her husband is being detained. She has done so showing her husband support in his battle against the administrative detention he is under. The occupation’s court rejected a new release plea after having issued an order last September (23) to suspend his administrative detention in an attempt to turn around his strike. Al-Akhras, a father of 6 children the youngest of them is a 6-year-old girl, was arrested for a total of 4 years.
