Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that the IOF hold more than 914 administrative detainees in the Israeli prisons this year, in a higher range since the second intifada

In a related context, it demonstrated that the IOF have issued more than 12,000 administrative detention orders over the recent 9 years. This was in 2022 as the administrative detention orders reached 2409, and 315 of which were in December. 

80% of the administrative detainees had undergone previous detentions and there were some who spent years of it. On the other hand, 80 administrative detainees continue to boycott the occupation courts. Basically, the administrative detainees are sent to three prisons: “Ofer, Ktzi'ot, and Megiddo” and the others are distributed in many other prisons.
