The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs announced that the number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees held by the Israeli occupation has exceeded 10,800 as of the beginning of this month. This figure does not include those detained in Israeli military camps.

The commission stated that among the detainees are 48 women and over 440 children. It also reported that more than 3,600 administrative detainees are being held without charges or trials.

Additionally, 2,454 of the detainees are from Gaza, labeled by the Israeli prison authorities as “unlawful combatants.”
