The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the suspension of National Security Minister Itmar Ben-Gafir's sanctions against Al-Quds is the key to achieving calm in the conflict arena.

The Ministry condemned Ben Gvir’s war against Al-Quds, which encompasses all aspects of life in the city and its sanctities, and considered it as the most heinous form of collective punishment and crimes of ethnic cleansing. It also stressed that as long as the international reactions to Israel's unilateral actions remain under the roof of condemnations and expressions of concern, this does not help to calm down, and Ben Gvir understands it as a passage towards further violations.
