The Knesset voted in favor of a law to prevent the dismissal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from his position.

This law, which was set by the head of the Israeli government coalition, Ofir Katz, in partnership with the heads of the coalition parties, comes as a result of the Supreme Court’s deliberations, rejecting Netanyahu to be removed from his position because of his trial in corruption files.

Simultaneously, demonstrators are gathering in several areas of occupied Palestine to protest against the plan to weaken the judiciary, approved 4 weeks ago.
