Minister of National Security of Israel, Itmar Ben Gvir, decided to dismiss the commander of the Tel Aviv region in the Israeli police, after the Israeli media described him as “indulgent” with the widespread demonstrations against Netenyahu's government plan to weaken the judicial system.

The Movement for Quality Government in Israel, decided to go to the  Supreme Court and hand in an administrative petition to prevent the dismissal of Tel Aviv's region commandor. Moreover, the movement explained that Ben Gavir has turned the police into a political organization to preserve the dictatorial system. It also called on the Israeli people to go out in mass demonstration in protest for Ben Gavir's decision.
