The Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies assured that the Israeli occupation escalated its administrative resolutions against Palestinian prisoners during the current year. To illustrate, 580 administrative resolutions have been issued by the occupation courts since the start of 2023.

The center also showed that among those administrative resolutions, there are 357 resolutions for administrative detention renewal for new periods ranging from 2 months to 6 months. In addition, 223 resolutions were issued for the first time against prisoners, most of whom were released prisoners who were rearrested again.

As a result of the intensive administrative resolutions this month, the manager of the center, Reyad Al Ashqar, stated that the number of administrative prisoners has risen to 1000, which is the highest proportion since the start of the year.
