Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, announced a temporary moratorium on Judicial adjustments. However, they must be addressed again in the next session of the Knesset.
“Out of the national responsibility and the desire to prevent disintegration, I decided to suspend the Judicial legistments. This is to reach a widespread agreement.” He added: “I don’t want the community to be disintegrated,” Netanyahu stated in a press release.
Furthermore, he assured the government coalition insistence to make the judicial adjustments. Adding: “But I decided to suspend the two upcoming readings.”
