In commemoration of Land Day, thousands of Palestinians engaged in various popular initiatives in many areas of the Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank, and the occupied Palestinian lands of 1948.
Palestinians commemorate "Land Day," whose events date back to March 30, 1976, when the Israeli occupation confiscated thousands of dunums from Palestinian owned-lands, in occupied Al-Galilee.
In Gaza, hundreds of citizens gathered to commemorate Land Day at the separation fence, East Gaza Strip. Additionally, a march was held in Sakhnin city in occupied 1948 lands, and participants walked down the city streets till the martyrs' cemetery.
While in Hebron, Palestinians commemorated Land Day by taking a stand in support of the prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons, especially the sick.
