On Wednesday, warning sirens rang in Gaza's envelope settlements and the city of Ashkelon (occupied Ascalon) as the Gaza resistance fired projectile barrages from the Strip. This was the first Palestinian response to Israel's continuous onslaught since Tuesday's dawn.

The Israeli occupation army stated that warning sirens sounded throughout Gaza's envelope settlements and the occupied Ascalon, southern occupied Palestine.

According to Israeli media, the Iron Dome missile defense system is attempting to intercept the projectiles.
