Gaza Will Witness Dark Nights

May 13, 2023 04:15 pm

The power plant in Gaza will shut down the following day, Monday, according to the Energy Authority in Gaza, because fuel supplies have been cut off as a result of the commercial Kerem Shalom border crossing being closed for the fifth day in a row.

The power plant's output has dropped to around 45–48 megawatts since the Israeli onslaught started in Gaza. This is because the fuel supply has been entirely cut off since last Tuesday as a result of the aggression and the complete closure of the crossings.
