Today, Monday, May 15, is the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, which resulted in the displacement of more than 950 thousand Palestinians from their cities and towns of origin.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Zionist gangs seized control of 774 Palestinian villages and cities during the Nakba, of which 531 were completely destroyed. The cultural and historical features of these cities were also destroyed, and the remaining villages and cities were subjected to the occupation and its laws.
On this day, 78% of the whole of Palestine came under Israeli occupation, and the year of the Nakba witnessed more than 70 murders committed by Zionist gangs. This includes the atrocities at Deir Yassin and Al-Tantura, which resulted in thousands of martyrs.
