The village councils of Al-Jalama and Arbouna in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, were informed by the Israeli occupation forces that 144 dunums of these lands would be confiscated.
Amjad Abu Farha, the head of the mayor in Al-Jalama, reported that the council had received a notification from the Israeli military that included a resolution to seize 144 dunums of land from the Jenin villages of Al-Jalama and Arbouna for security reasons.
According to the notification of the occupation, the lands were seized and would remain so until the end of 2027, proving that the two communities' residents are the rightful owners. Moreover, a notice of the seizure of 600 square meters of land in support of the construction of a new part of the apartheid wall was presented by the occupation on Monday morning.
