According to the Office of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), over the past two weeks, Israeli occupation forces have confiscated and demolished 42 Palestinian-owned buildings in Area C of the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds under the pretext of "lack of building permits."
Moreover, the office stated that the demolitions caused the displacement of 50 Palestinians, including 23 children, and the destruction of more than 600 other people's livelihoods in a periodic report that tracks the transgressions of the occupation between May 2 and May 15.
Nine of these structures, including a school, were donated by donors as humanitarian help, as the office noted, and more than half of the destroyed structures belonged to Area C. Not only this, but the occupation demolished 16 buildings in Al-Quds, along with 7 others that were self-demolished by its owners to avoid paying the fines to the occupation. 57 schools in different areas of the occupied West Bank are subject to demolition.
