According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have arrested 170 citizens from Jericho and the valley area. The arrests concentrated in Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, as arrest cases reached more than 100, which represents the highest rate since years in Jericho.
Moreover, the club reported that the arrests conducted by the IOF were followed by extrajudicial executions, torture for the prisoners and their families. They also utilized all types of weapons, in addition to the constant threat, collective punishment, and vandalism of the citizens' houses.
It was also reported that 22 children, less than 18 years old, were among the arrested. Not only that, but three of the arrested were shot with bullets while they were detained, and others were injured before being arrested.
