The wife and children of a prisoner were among the 33 civilians who were detained by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Asra Media Office, the IOF detained the prisoner Atef Abu Alia's wife, son, and another young man following a raid on their home. Atef has been held since 2008 and is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence.
The office reported that in addition to the two young men from Hebron, the occupation soldiers also detained a released prisoner from the city of Nablus, a young man from Jenin, and three other young men. Also, in tekoa town in Bethlehem, the IOF launched an arrest campaign which targeted more than 32 young men.
In the same context, the Israeli forces searched a released prisoner's house in the town of Sebastia, which is located north of Nablus.
