The families of the Masafer Yatta in southern Hebron demanded serious official and popular action to protect them from occupation attacks and attempts to expel Palestinians from their land.

The anti-settlement activist in Masafir Yatta Suleiman Al-Ara said that the Masafer Yatta’s people suffer day and night from the occupation, demanding that its marginalized cause must be put on the table and moved. He also stressed the need for everyone to take responsibility, as opposed to the occupation mobilizing all its power to protect settlers who reside on the land of the citizens in Masafar Yatta.

Last year, the so-called "Israeli" Supreme Court endorsed the expulsion of Palestinians from the Masafer Yatta, claiming it to be an area of fire for the occupying forces.
