According to Israeli media, the massive protests in Israel are still taking place for the 22nd week in succession. These protests condemn Netenyahu government’s policies and the reform plan, which aims to undermine the Supreme Court’s powers.
Tens of thousands took part in the central protest in Tel Aviv. It also extended to multiple major junctions and towns. Moreover, more than one thousand people protested against Benjamin Netenyahu’s house, the Prime Minister of Israel. They denounced the Isreali police’s violation against them, and described them as “serving the charged king”, along with confirming not to abandon the protest.
The plan also includes some modifications that limit the powers of the Supreme Court (highest judicial authority). It also allows the government to intervene in the appointment of judges.
