A draft law intended to collect financial fines imposed against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank was amended by an Israeli ministerial committee.
The so-called Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs reportedly approved the draft law, which primarily deals with the collection of fines levied by military courts in the West Bank and transferring them to the Israeli government's purse. This was reported by the Hebrew Channel 7.
The draft law will eventually be referred to the Knesset Plenum for a vote with the Ministerial Committee's approval.
