The family of elderly martyr Omar Asaad said that the Israeli occupation closed the investigation file of Asaad’s martyrdom, under the pretext of changing the Israeli government.

According to the family, the occupation refused to make any statements about the closure of the investigation file of his murder. It only stated that this returns to changing the government, which changes all rules, according to its claim. The family also indicated that it had filed a challenge in the case, as well as a case against the occupation in an American court, especially since the martyr Asaad held American citizenship.

Asaad, 80, died on 12 January 2022, after being detained, shackled and blindfolded by occupying forces during late night hours.
