The occupation's National Security Minister Itmar Ben-Gvir called for an increase in settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank and for a large military operation to eliminate thousands of Palestinians, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

"We need to strengthen the settlement and at the same time launch a military operation (including) demolition of buildings and liquidation of saboteurs, not one or two, but tens and hundreds, and thousands if necessary," Ben Gvir said. Calls within the occupation's political system have risen in recent days for a large military operation in the West Bank, which is witnessing heightened tensions.
