A report issued by an Israeli human rights association revealed the escalating settlement activity in the occupied West Bank during the current government of Benjamin Netanyahu, reaching record numbers.

The "Peace Now" movement stated in its report that the occupation government promoted 12,855 settlement units in the West Bank in the first half of this year, which is a record number on an annual scale.
