The administrative prisoner, 44-year-old Khaled Al-Nawabit, has been experiencing cardiac issues since before his detention, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, and they have recently started to get worse. He exhibits symptoms like breathlessness, generalized weakness, and irregular heartbeats.
According to the Club, the prison administration procrastinates conducting the required medical examinations. A doctor at Hadassah Hospital confirmed that he could not approve the examinations that he was given from the Ramla prison clinic, in which the doctor claims that Al-Nawabeet is not suffering from anything. According to the Prisoners Club, this confirms the manipulation of the prisons' administration in the course of his necessary treatment. Thus, the doctor assured the prisoner that he needed new examinations to be conducted in another hospital in order to give his final diagnosis. 
Moreover, in May of last year, the occupation issued a new administrative detention order against him that was valid for six months. Al-Nawabeet was detained in administrative custody after his arrest in November of last year, despite his serious health condition.
