The Dawabsha family was set on fire in Duma village, Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, eight years ago today, on Monday, in a horrifying slaughter that shocked the entire world, at the hands of illegal extremist settlers.
As the Dawabsha family was sleeping, illegal settlers sneaking into the village of Duma threw Molotov cocktails into their home on July 31, 2015, killing the infant Ali and seriously injuring his parents and brother Ahmed. His father, Saad, was proclaimed a martyr a few days later from his injuries, and his mother, Reham, was martyred more than a month after the crime.
Saad and Riham, together with their infant son Ali, died from their severe burn injuries, but Ahmed, who was four years old at the time, survived with burns that ranged from 40% to 60%, and it took him years to recover from them.
