The Israeli occupation forces oppressed a march that was held for the Prophet in occupied Al-Quds after exiting Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. The soldiers assaulted the participants which led to several injuries, and arrested some citizens including the journalist Abdul-Afu Zaghir. Hundreds of Palestinians also marched in the Gaza Strip including factions’ representatives and deputies against the offending French caricatures. Fathi Hamad, member in Hamas’ Political Bureau, said in a speech that France and Macron still dream of waging a new campaign against the Islamic World. He also said, “The Islamic World, Gaza and Palestine have all stood up against the caricatures. There will come a day when we all stand up to save the place from where the Prophet ascended [meaning Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa]”.
