The Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed that female prisoners in "Al-Damon" prison have started protest steps since last Sunday, demanding an improvement in their detention conditions.
The steps taken by the female prisoners included returning meals, delaying the headcount or the so-called "security check."
In response, the prison administration imposed a series of sanctions against them, including the closure of their section, the prohibition of using the public phone, the closure of the canteen, and the denial of visitation rights.
It should be noted that the number of female prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons is 32, including minors.
