Dozens of Palestinians were injured when Israeli occupation forces invaded the eastern part of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank.

Large forces invaded the region to guard the Israeli settlers while storming Yusef's Tomb area, where they offered Talmudic prayers and engaged in violent altercations with scores of young men. Also, they fired tear gas canisters and bullets, resulting in the injuries of 85 civilians who suffered tear gas inhalation. A young man also received a critical injury to his chest, while 10 others were injured by the bullet shrapnel. 

During this attack, the occupying troops raided the adjoining Balata camp and destroyed Abdullah Abu Shalal's home for the second time in a couple of months. He is a persecuted resistance fighter. In the camp, they also detonated another apartment.
