Two settlers were killed in a Palestinian militant operation in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli sources reported that gunfire was directed at the settlers from point-blank range near a car wash in the town by a passing vehicle. An Israeli security official was quoted as saying, "The gunfire was very precise, and it is unclear whether the perpetrator got out of the vehicle and opened fire or if the shots were fired from a speeding car towards the settlers.
Within the same context, Israeli occupation forces stormed Beita town, occupied the rooftops of homes, and detained a number of citizens after storming their homes and vandalizing their property. This came under the pretext of searching for the perpetrator, leading to clashes between Palestinians and occupation forces. Therefore, dozens of citizens were injured and suffered tear gas inhalation.
