According to the Israeli Channel 12, the Israeli cabinet decided to give Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of the Occupation Army, Yoav Gallant, the authority to take actions against Palestinian resistance members as well as the individuals in charge of their dispatch.
According to a press release from Prime Minister Netanyahu's office, "the cabinet has taken a series of steps aimed at targeting individuals who carry out fedayeen operations as well as those who direct them, and the prime minister and the defense minister have been given powers to take action in this context."
The statement underscored the Cabinet's backing of the soldiers and commanders in the occupation's army and security agencies in their efforts to protect the civilian population.
