The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's Secretary-General, Abu Ali Mustafa, was killed in an Israeli bombardment in the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank in 2001. This Sunday, August 27, marks the 22nd anniversary of his death.
During the Al-Aqsa Intifada, Mustafa is regarded as the first leader to be killed by "Israel" using its missiles. While he was there, two missiles were dropped on his Ramallah office by occupying helicopters. which caused his body to instantaneously disintegrate, resulting in his martyrdom.
