According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, 120 prisoners from Nafha prison—including high-conviction prisoners and leaders of the prisoners movement—have been transferred to a mass isolation unit by the occupation prisons' administration.
Both the club and the commission demonstrated how this transfer fits into the overall pattern of aggression against the Palestinian prisoners, undermining any state of stability the prisoner may have been working to achieve by confronting the abuse to which they are subjected as well as the rules and regulations of the prisons' administration.
Moreover, they clarified that, in view of the prisoners' conflict with the prisons' administration, the mass transfer operations fall under the umbrella of a systematic policy advocated by the prison administration. This transfer procedure also took place soon after Itamar Ben Gvir, the occupation security minister, visited the prisons of Negev and Ofer.
