According to the Commission of Detainees' and Ex-Detainees' Affairs, Kayed Al-Fasfous' health has substantially worsened and his life is now in jeopardy. Al-Fasfous has been on an open-ended hunger strike for 32 straight days in protest of his administrative detention.
According to the commission, the prisoner, Al-Fasfous, is suffering from extreme fatigue and exhaustion. He has trouble moving and can no longer walk or stand, he has pains all over his body, he experiences dizziness, imbalance, and forgetfulness, and his health has gotten worse and more challenging.
The commission stated that the prisoner's condition seemed more delicate and dangerous during the visit, and that he was being treated carelessly and inhumanely by the jailers, who tied him up and insulted him. The commission also stated that the prisoner had not taken a shower in twenty days because he was unable to stand, and that he was also denied the opportunity to purchase clothing.
