The National Security Advisor in the White House stated that American, Israeli, and Saudi officials have discussed various elements towards a path of normalization between Saudi Arabia and the Israeli occupation entity, but no ready-to-sign agreements have been reached yet.
The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" cited Israeli security sources as saying that the United States and Saudi Arabia are approaching preliminary understandings regarding the details of their agreement. However, they will not sign a defense pact obligating the United States to stand by Saudi Arabia in case of an attack.
Instead, they will sign an agreement outlining the commitment of the United States to provide security assistance to Saudi Arabia. Israeli security sources also suggested that the United States may agree to the Saudi demand regarding a civilian nuclear program, provided it undergoes international monitoring.
