Thousands of worshipers answered the call to stand steadfast and join the “Great Dawn” prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque, despite the military occupation’s tightened security measures.
Worshipers came from various parts of Jerusalem, its suburbs, and the Palestinians within the occupied territories since 1948, as well as those who managed to reach the mosques from the occupied West Bank.
In Hebron, hundreds of worshipers also answered the call for the “Great Dawn” prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque to emphasize its Islamic significance.
The Israeli occupation forces had closed the Ibrahimi Mosque the day before, while settlers conducted Talmudic rituals, celebrations, and dancing inside. Radical Temple groups continued to mobilize settlers for further incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque during three Jewish holidays that began several days ago and extend until mid-October.
