In an effort to calm the escalation of tensions along Gaza's borders, Tor Wennesland, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, will arrive in the Gaza Strip this morning, according to the local news outlet Sawa.
Wennesland’s visit of Gaza coincides with a critical situation in the Gaza Strip, especially as Israeli occupation troops continue to blockade the "Beit Hanoun" crossing (Erez) and as young men continue to protest at Gaza's border, while Israeli warplanes continue to target Hamas resistance sites in Gaza.
