The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that the Israeli Supreme Court's decision to reject an appeal demanding the resumption of humanitarian aid entry into Gaza has legitimized the use of starvation as a weapon against Palestinians. This ruling, the organization said, underscores the involvement of all official Israeli institutions in violations against Gaza’s population.

The monitor emphasized that this decision defies rulings by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which had ordered Israel to take immediate measures to ensure the provision of essential services to Gaza's residents amid the dire humanitarian crisis.

The Euro-Med Monitor further criticized the international community's continued silence on these violations, calling for an end to inaction and warning against leaving the Palestinian people at the mercy of a state seeking to dismantle their existence.

On Thursday, the Israeli Supreme Court rejected petitions demanding the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, exacerbating the already catastrophic humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.
