UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that Israel is using food and humanitarian aid as a weapon against Gaza. He pointed out that the Occupation has been imposing a ssafocated blockade on Gaza for more than a month on essential goods such as food, medicine, and fuel, describing what is happening as collective punishment. Lazzarini called for the blockade on the Gaza Strip to be lifted and for aid to be allowed into the Strip.
