Israeli occupation forces have intensified their daily aggression and violations in Jenin, located in the occupied West Bank. The city has been witnessing repeated raids, arbitrary arrests, and direct targeting of infrastructure and homes.
According to the Media Committee in Jenin Refugee Camp, Israeli bulldozers stormed the camp and began demolition operations targeting several homes, despite the camp being nearly empty due to the forced displacement of approximately 21,000 Palestinians from their residences.
The occupation continues to deploy military reinforcements, armored vehicles, and heavy bulldozers into the city and the camp, opening and expanding roads, altering the layout of the camp, and demolishing civilian homes.
The committee reported that the aggression in Jenin city and its camp has resulted in the martyrdom of 38 Palestinians and the destruction of more than 3,250 housing units — either completely, partially, or by fire. Additionally, the city suffers from water and electricity cuts, as well as a severe shortage of food and basic necessities for children due to the ongoing Israeli siege.
