The spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Jens Laerke, stated that the Gaza Strip is witnessing the worst humanitarian situation since the beginning of the war due to the Israeli occupation’s prevention of humanitarian aid entry.
Laerke pointed out that humanitarian aid has not reached Gaza for 50 days, and commercial goods have not entered the Strip for more than 50 days.
He added, “In Gaza, you can clearly see a trend toward a complete catastrophe. At the moment, the humanitarian situation in Gaza may be the worst since the start of the war.
