Agnès Callamard, Secretary-General of Amnesty International, affirmed that the Israeli occupation army is committing genocidal atrocities in Gaza — broadcast live for the world to see.

Callamard stated that the organization has documented the genocide committed by the occupation against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. She also pointed to the growing attacks on the International Criminal Court in recent months, following its issuance of provisional measures in the case filed by South Africa against Israel, and its advisory opinion declaring the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories — including East Jerusalem — as illegal.

She stressed that all governments must act to uphold international law and stop the ongoing atrocities.
