The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in a statement the Israeli occupation’s attempts to extend the duration it had forcefully given to the settlers for breaking into Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, and considered this a dangerous escalation in the Judaization plan of Al-Quds and division of Al-Aqsa. The Ministry warned against the consequences and risks of such decision as it indicates an official invitation for escalating the aggression against Al-Aqsa and a call for extremism and violence. It also held the occupation’s government and Prime Minister the full responsibility for such escalation, and pointed to its ongoing efforts to coordinate with Jordan against such work. The Ministry urged the international community and the UN relevant organization, especially UNESCO, Parliament of the World’s Religions, UN Human Rights Council among others, to stop the procedures.
