The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that 92% of homes in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed or damaged as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on the enclave.
The agency stated that residents have been displaced multiple times, and shelter has become extremely scarce. Despite this, UNRWA affirmed that it remains on the ground, providing critical humanitarian assistance.
UNRWA also stressed the urgent need to lift the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
