The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom confirmed that ceasefire talks in Gaza are still ongoing through mediators.

The paper quoted an Israeli official as saying that a new U.S. proposal has been presented to Hamas, based on the updated Wietecov proposal, but that Hamas has not yet responded.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 13 reported that the stalemate in indirect negotiations between the Israeli government and Hamas led to Israel withdrawing its entire delegation from the Qatari capital, Doha.

However, the report stressed that the return of the delegation from Doha does not signal the end of negotiations, which are still continuing through mediators on a constant basis.
