Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed the noon Friday prayer today at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards, despite tight Israeli restrictions and inspections on those arriving.

According to Jerusalem sources, the occupation forces restricted worshipers as they made their way to Friday prayer, inspecting their IDs and preventing others from entering.

Meanwhile, a group of settlers performed Talmudic rituals and provocative dances in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, coinciding with the departure of worshipers from the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In this context, calls continue to intensify presence and encourage travel to the mosque, in light of the increasing violations by occupation forces and settlers.
