The Government Media Office announced that 31 citizens were martyred and more than 200 others were injured in a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians gathered at the American aid distribution center in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
The office pointed out that the total number of martyrs at aid distribution sites has risen to 49, with more than 305 wounded since the new aid mechanism was launched on May 27. It stressed that what is happening is a systematic and malicious use of humanitarian aid as a tool of war, aimed at blackmailing hungry civilians and forcibly gathering them in exposed killing zones, under political cover from the Israeli occupation and the U.S. administration.
It firmly rejected all forms of so-called “buffer zones” or “humanitarian corridors” established under the supervision of the occupation or funded by the United States, warning of the deadly danger of continuing this model, which has proven to be a trap for starving civilians, not a path to safety.
