The Director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, Dr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya, stated that five cancer patients die every day in their homes due to the lack of medical care.

In a press statement, Abu Salmiya added that hospitals are also suffering from a shortage of clean water, even in dialysis units.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation has closed Gaza's crossings, preventing the entry of humanitarian, medical, and food aid, which has led to a severe deterioration in the humanitarian situation, especially for patients due to a shortage of medications.
