The Israeli left-wing organization "Ir Amim" stated that last May recorded a new high in 2025 in terms of the number of buildings demolished by Israel in occupied East Jerusalem.

In a statement, the organization, which specializes in Jerusalem affairs, said that the total number of demolished buildings reached 33 — including 16 residential units and 17 non-residential structures — bringing the total number of demolition operations in occupied East Jerusalem since the beginning of the year to 93.
