Member of Hamas’ political bureau, Mohammed Nazzal, denied that the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza have reached a dead end, despite the current stagnation in the negotiation track.

Nazzal stated: "We have not closed the door to any party seeking to end this insane war of extermination, and we are currently responding to a new Qatari initiative."

He explained that the initiative aims to bridge the gap in the latest proposal by U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Wietkoff, stressing that the conditions are not yet ripe for reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, but efforts are still ongoing.
